Wealthy Affiliate is an online coaching program for affiliate marketing. This website is much like a super detailed tutorial on how to get started with affiliate marketing. Although experienced marketers can benefit from the site too, it is mostly geared at teaching beginners how to get started with affiliate marketing. So, what exactly IS affiliate marketing? In a nutshell it is when you sign up with a company as an affiliate. You put your personalized affiliate links online and when somebody buys the product through your link you get paid. There are specific sections for different types of marketing, and the General Success forum is a great place for inspiration. Every day there are new people succeeding and making money.

Site Rubix

When you join Wealthy Affiliate you also get access to tools to help with your own websites. You can get free hosting for up to 3 websites using WA Hosting. You also get to use Site Rubix, which is a program to help you easily create your own websites. Site Rubix makes it very easy to create a website, even if you don't have any related experience. You pick the background template you want, and then drag and drop different content modules into the site. You can include text, pictures, videos, custom HTML codes, and much more!

WA Gold

The real focus of Wealthy Affiliate is to teach you the fundamentals of affiliate marketing so you can make your own websites and go off on your own to be successful. They train you how to use other companies to make money. But Wealthy Affiliate recently added a new feature called WA Gold that helps you to earn money directly on this site. Every month the members are given a certain amount of "gold points" that you can exchange for cash. If you post on the forum or contribute to the site, other people can donate some gold points to you, and you can earn lots of points to trade in for cash!

Who is Wealthy Affiliate For?

After reading through some of this Wealthy Affiliate review, you might be wary of joining because you don't think it will work since you don't have any experience with business or marketing. Guess what? I didn't have experience either! This actually all began with me as a broke college student looking for some extra money to pay for school. I accidentally stumbled across Wealthy Affiliate and joined right away. I had absolutely no experience doing anything like this. After joining I found out that most of the members there didn't have any experience either. This site is geared toward beginners, so you don't need to worry about anything. Wealthy Affiliate is a great place for everyone, so here is a basic recap of the requirements:

-Experience: You do NOT need any! I started without any experience, and so have many others. Wealthy Affiliate was designed with people like you and me in my mind, so there are many tutorials to walk you through the process. You can also get help in the forum if you need it.

-Time: You can pick how much time you want to spend doing this. Some people spend a few hours a week working with affiliate marketing to earn a little spare cash to use for fun. Other members at WA do this full time and get over $1,000 a day! I personally haven't gotten that far yet, and really don't intend to, but if that is your goal, you can definitely attain it.

-Effort: Yes, this does count as WORK, and you will need to put in some effort if you want to succeed. You can put in as much time and effort into it as you want to get as much money as you want, but to succeed at all will require some work. This is NOT a get rich scam, and it will take time for everything to start clicking. If you stick with it and try hard though, it is definitely possible to succeed. After my first month at Wealthy Affiliate I earned about $200 total. After that, the work gets easier and you get more efficient, so you can start earning even more money!

-Money: Unfortunately, it does take money to make money. It costs $40 a month to join Wealthy Affiliate. After first hearing about the site, I was cautious since you had to pay. But after joining I quickly learned that it was NOT a scam. It is a great site, and again, in the first month I made $200, so keeping my membership there seemed like a great idea. If you are willing to invest a little time and money into this, I guarantee it will be worthwhile, and the payouts will be great if you try hard and give it some time.
